I was just told by DaimlerChrysler (1-800-853-1403) that it is not an "official" recall yet so I can not take my 2002 PT Cruiser in for repair. HELLO people
it is on the NHTSA website and it can cause a fire!!! What are they waiting for??? [xx(] The NHTSA website says it is all vehicles built between January 17, 2000- April 26, 2004. I would say my 2002 falls in between those dates. Sorry now I am ranting!
If anyone else calls Chrysler (I suggest everyone does) and has a different result please let me know.
