I'm with hoop..the install is easy and I tried to use the template but I found it easier to just measure the other side. I used a heavy duty box cutter and it worked fine.My only other suggestion is to torque the clamps to about 45-50 pounds instead of the 30-35 the instructions say...my front pipe was letting air sputter out.
