I plan on getting the Brand X pipe and a K&N drop in at 15,000 miles (which should be about next week) and also switch over to Mobil 1.
I want to fabricate a piece that will replace the snorkel and utilize the larger opening in the airbox when the entire stock snorkel unit is removed. I just really want that larger volume of air that this will allow. Will it make any difference in performance? I don't know, but I'll feel better knowing I have the largest possible opening for the air to come into the intake. I just have to get to the stores and check some things out that may work. If I find something that can work, I'll post what I did so others can try it too if they like.
