I used the mopar kit which is just a smaller/non knurled diameter bolt used to replace the upper knurled stock bolt. You could slot the upper bolt hole on the strut. I did not necessarily have to use the kit but my specs were off from side to side stock and I only used it on the right side to match the left. I would recommend you using the kit to give yourself at least -.5 degree camber. I set mine at -.8 deg. You may even have this after you lower your cruiser.
You will reduce the wear on the out side edge of the tire(very common) and the tire will remain more flat when cornering. Anything more than -1.0 and not an aggressive driver and you will start to wear the inside edge.
Factory spec is .4 to -.4
What is scary is that you could have .4 on the right and -.4 on the left and be "in spec" which would be a cross camber of .8 degrees, not good. Make sure the tech matches it side to side as close as possible!
