WOW... WHAT A WEEKEND!!!
On behalf of Glen and Pat Bond / John and Jacquetta Caruso / myself (BK) and all the other dedicated staff and volunteers, we want to send a
HUGE THANKS to everyone who joined us for this summer's MMISL 2005 Event.
Mother Nature has now tested us 2 years in a row by throwing some of the worst weather extremes during last summer's flooding and this summer's sweltering heat at us during MMISL.
You folks that joined us are incredible! We were touched by the thoughtful sharing of canopy and tent space for those who had none, sharing ice and drinks out of your coolers to help those who ran out and most importantly the patience you showed toward our staff who did everything we could to keep the event running as smooth as possible even during the deadly heat. Even though there were a few issues with the a/c in parts of the hotel and some of the ice machines failing due to the extremes, not even the hotel expected that and they did all they could to make other arrangements.
Not only did we have record high triple digit temperatures and record high triple digit attendance numbers! Not bad considering the extreme weather conditions, price of gas this summer and the unfortunate timing of MMISL during the same weekend as Cruise the Glenn.
Once again, THANK YOU ALL for joining us this summer as we close the books on another successful MMISL Event and we begin planning for next summer's bash...
