Are you sure you didn't just miscalculate based on the fact that when you disconnect the battery for a few minutes your trip mileage is reset? That is an enormous swing just from a computer reset, don't you think? I mean, if the computer thinks you're driving flat out all the time and dumping all that fuel in, wouldn't you expect to feel a big jump in power too? And we all know that doesn't happen, or those who have tried it at the racetrack would see huge improvements in 1/4 mile times, but in fact they don't.
