I would prefer to remain legal when it comes to pollution control laws and a sticker on the PCM that says "Not for Use on Vehicles Equipped with Pollution Control Devices" doesn't make me feel too good. But to each his own.

MD,
Which would you rather have on the streets, A clean burning S1, S2, or S3 car, or they driver who fails, show reciepts(sp) and still has a dirty car but they waive them. Pollution controll means correct burning of fuels, and reducing the amount of "clean" emmissions. And as of now our cars are running very rich, and hoping the rest of the emmission controls clean it up. If the real reason for pollution controll was to clean the air, ALL vehicles would have to pass a tail pipe test. Yes it is making a difference, but the amount of dirty cars running around is pretty bad. You are in my area, I'm sure you have seen cars belching both anburned gas, black smoke, and burning oil, blue smoke. Those cars should be ticketed and tested, and repaired.
