I have one on my car, but only for shows. I kept it on for about a week to see if there was any difference between that and the drop-in K&N filter. I am using it with Adam's VAK system. Mike-in-Orange saw an old beat-up one that my husband sent to Adam to use as a prototype, so he could make his pipe fit for that filter. The new one doesn't have any big holes in it. I noticed that it is louder and now the car really takes off from a stop much quicker than before. I have to adjust my driving to get used to the faster response.
