I have one on my car, but only for shows. I kept it on for about a week to see if there was any difference between that and the drop-in K&N filter. I am using it with Adam's VAK system. Mike-in-Orange saw an old beat-up one that my husband sent to Adam to use as a prototype, so he could make his pipe fit for that filter.

OK, that's fair enough. Still, given the overall condition of the piece I saw, and the size and number of holes in the filter, I wonder if that filter is the weak link in this piece. It still seems odd to me that the filter, which didn't look dirty really, had all those holes!!
