The PT (manual or automatic) will NOT accumulate mileage if the engine is not running while being towed four down. The PT is certified by Chrysler for four wheel down towing behind a motorhome ONLY with the manual transmission.
If you have the manual transmission all you need is the tow bar brackets and the light wiring (with diodes) installed on your PT and you are ready to tow.
I have the AutoStick so I had to add the Remco Transmission Lube Pump to make mine towable four down.
The PT makes a wonderful tow vehicle.
