I think this is most likely the normal sound of the turbo at WOT--sort of like a jet plane on take-off!
[8)] My car has the same kind of sound and my Mopar BOV was installed using High Temp RTV sealant on both sides of the gasket. If you were to install a Brand X/or other turbo-up pipe the sound may increase some as there will no longer be a silencer in the pipe.
