Just installed the Revelations shifter nob on my autostick. I was having a hell of a time getting the old unit off. The release button is pressed onto the shift lever. I checked the achives, but nothing seemed to work. I was almost ready to give up. I took out a small pipe wrench and placed it below the ball with the jaws opened wide enough so they wouldn't touch the shifter stem. I then gave the pipe wrench a couple of hits with a hammer and the unit popped off. I also ordered the chrome door lock buttons, but found them to be of smaller diameter then the originals and rattled in place on the door, so I removed them. Quite happy with the new shifter.
