I participated in a PT Cruiser Show in Auburn, WA., hosted by the Mt. Rainier Cruiser Club and Brewer Chrysler this past Saturday. The weather was fantastic (not too hot) and the turn-out was excellent--56 cars registered for this
free event. There were raffles, drawings, prizes, live music, and all the food you could eat, and many very sharp-looking PT Cruisers on display (a few stock but the majority were modified) that came from all parts of western and central Washington. There were only three competition categories --Best Stock, Best Custom, and Best Trunk Display. The
big surprise of the day for me was when my Cruiser--
Seamist Green Cruzn Machine--was awarded the
second place trophy for
Best Custom Cruiser.

I never expected this with all the many outstanding PT Cruisers at this event. It was a nice surprise and indicated to me that my car is now able to compete with the "big boys". [8]
First Place, Best Custom
The "Spiderman PT" also received First Place for Best Trunk Display.
Second Place, Best Custom --
Seamist Green CruzN Machine
Many sharp-looking Cruisers were at the event...
It's PT party time!

Another car that got lots of attention was this
2005 PT Cruiser "Turbolite" with the awesome two-tone paint done by the dealership. It was on sale for the "right" price. [:0]
