Now that I have 3,000 on my '05 GT w/autostick(bought 7/04/05. (hey I like to drive!)..it's time for the oil change. It used almost 1 quart, which from what I read is acceptable. Not really into doing it myself this first time, What's the dealer gonna put in, and doesn't the GT take a different filter/oil ?
Also, got around to checking my tire pressure(205/50r17,stock rubber)...the sticker on the door says 38lbs, I assume at max load cold. Imagine my surprise...22lbs. all the way around. I didn't change it right then, took a 250 mile jaunt...the hot pressure read 28 lb. . So, what's the scoop on pressure? More interested in a smooth ride and tire wear than performance. And when can I switch to Mobil 1 ? or should I ? Now let me go run an errand, turn off that traction control and have to jump in front of that 'BMW sedan....
