Harm...don't think so. What it does is trick the ECU to think that it's seeing cooler air than its actually seeing, therefore sending more gas to compensate....more gas, more power. Although it won't be a seat-of-the-pants kind of surge in power, it could be a couple of horses. Down side is that your MPG will go down a couple of miles per gallon.
