For the best results all adjustable shocks/struts should be turned to 'full hard' then backed of a desired amount.

In this case the Koni is 'full hard, and back 2 complete turns' for example.

The reason is shim stack preload which may vary a bit by the build. Not that 'from soft' will hurt you, just that the reverse is more accurate.
