If you are looking for good cheap replacements, then there is no other then Pioneer to go with. I been in the car audio business for over 10 years and although I only do it now as a hobby, I would go no other route then a Pioneer Head Unit and pioneer interiors are awesome for the $$$.
Almost every company today makes Head Units with MP3 players and now even WMA.
As for Sony stay away from the Car Audio. There TV's are nice but there car audio sux.
