I suspect that if you run them at full soft too start with you may find them quite harsh even for daily driving. Maybe not.
The benefits are on track use where you can balance the dynamics of the car more. You want more oversteer and less understeer? I'll say yes. Any FWD car tends to push at corner exit. And turn in can be iffy as well.
Generally, FWD; run the fronts about 3/4 turn off full hard and the rears about 1.5 off full hard. This makes for less push at exit and stilll allows weight shift to the front under braking. Where you want it for turn in as well as begining to break the rear end free.
You do understand that these adjust rebound dampening right?
