PurplePT, I mentioned it in a earlier post above but I installed the Booger Bushings as well when I installed the new Hurst. It takes almost all of the wiggle out of the shift lever. Shifts in general are firmer. Though that has as much to do with the shifter as it does with the bushings. You have to modify one of the small bushings (the one that attaches to through the cable end at the shift lever bottom) to allow for the larger diameter roller bolt supplied with the Hurst, but it took all of 2 minutes to cut the inner lip flush and get it mounted.

I'd recommend the Booger Bushings to anyone with the manual even if they aren't planning on swapping out the shifter itself.
