Gunner,

A lot of us have replaced the bezel. To be extra careful, I surrounded the old bezel with masking tape, in case I slipped in taking off the black bezel, hoping the tape would stop any scratching. There probably is a special tool to take it off but I was just careful and used a tiny flat ended screwdriver. The old bezel just unscrews off counter-clockwise. So I put the tip of the screwdriver in one of the slots and gently tapped on the handle end until the old bezel started to turn loose. I turned it the rest of the way out by hand.
