I recommend a professional scan tool.
A consumer level scanner will not access SRS, ABS, BCM, TCM, and many other protocols.
If the light is on, you have codes to read. Simply throwing parts at it is not the right method of diagnosis.
My $4200 OTC Genisys or even an updated Snap-on MT2500 will be able to see the datastream that has set the codes in history.
