I've been reading the various posts about using acetone to help boost performance and mileage. I tried it in our Town & Country and didn't see any significant increase. However, the motor surely seemed to run better. Last Monday I was going on a 120 mile round trip with mostly highway 55-65 mph driving. I added 2oz. per 10 gallons to Mobil 93 octane gasoline. My usual mpg for a trip like this is 26-28 mpg. Great weather and vitually no wind showed 36.5 mpg. I couldn't squeeze another drop in the tank! I know it is only one example, but I certainly am intrigued and will continue to explore the possibilities. Has anyone else had any experiences with acetone and their PT GTs?
