Jmack I might be confusing back to black with forever black (which I have on my shelf) The later of the two is a dye, not clear. If the product you mentioned is clear it might be just a solvent based dressing, in which case is just as bad. The water based dressing on my web site has got high reviews. Its also what I use in my shop. a chamois is unforgiving if any dirt gets trapped in between the finish and the chamois. can cause damage in that repsect. a waffle weave won't allow that. dirt will be absorbed IN the fibers so your finish won't get scratched.
