Ah, well then, this is perhaps a different question. Please tell me that you have done the tranny quick learn before flogging your car at the track! Once at the track I just leave my car in "D" and run flat out. My car shifts at redline all the way down the track, and I've run a best of 14.8 @ 90.5mph. It seems even the GT guys with Autostick get the same results whether they leave them in "D" or drop them into Autostick mode and let the computer shift for them.
The only other thing I do is pull the revs up to around 1500rpm, left foot on the brake, then just mash the gas when the
last yellow light comes on.
