Default how to hook up a rear floor aux light

I decided to install an aftermarket auxiliary light to the rear seat floor area (without drilling holes).

the light was $6 at AutoZone.

attach [+] and {-} wires to the appropriate wires on the aux light, pigtail connect, then seal each connection with heat-shrink tape.

clean the back of the light and the mounting area with rubbing alcohol. Use strong double-sided tape and mount the aux light where desired.

for rear floor locations, the light’s wire can be run under the rear right seat. Tuck the wires into crevasses where possible.

continue to route the wire along the right side of the cargo area, then connect into the cargo light’s wiring.

aux light's [+] taps into the pink wire. its [-] wire taps into the greenish-yellow wire. apply electrical tape to the newly tapped wiring.

the aux light now turns on/off as the doors open and close.
