Joe, you don't need to get that aggresive. Just use regular car wash soap, dry and apply some of the deep cleaner/polish before using the sealant (yellow bottle) The cleaner will get the finsih ready for the final application. apply the selant. let it sit for 20 minutes, remove. Don't put it on too heavy, thinner is better. Gary
