Got 2 sets of Champion irridium plugs (one set for daughter's GT, 1 set for mine).
Went to change daughter's plugs, and when putting it first new plug, couldn't tighten it all the way...
Took it out and compared to the stock - threads and reach the same, but the hex "nut" part on the irridium is closer to the park end of the plug. What happens is outer edge of socket hits the "well" that the plugs goes in, and can't reach the "nut" after some turns....
Why'd Champion do that? How can they say it's for the engine?
Anybody get them installed? Anybody have the Desno irridiums with special socket???
