ptgtcb I am going to agree with you that there must be a reason our friends at DC have not applied to get the stage 1 certified. It has always ben rumored that it has to do with OBDII. If this is the case then stage 2 will never be certified either. It has also been suggested by DC engineers that stage 1 and stage 2 but not stage 3 mods will meet any objective emissions standards so far in existance both Feds and CA. Is this OBDII ready test done on all cars in CA? Just test only tests or what?? Any mods anyone does to an engine that is certified needs to be recertified by the manufacturer for an EO! What has to be stated is that the mod does not effect the emissions in any substantial way and that the reliabiulity and longevity of the emissions systems remains in tact! If DC has disabled any emissions system and subsystem they can not even get an EO, but would have to certify the engine all over again a very expensive process!!
