I'm 22 miles from the coast and my particular area is high above sea level so no fear of sea serge or flooding. Right now only low lying areas and all mobile home residents have to evacuate. I've buttoned things up and am filled with supplies and will sit it out. The winds for my area are supposed to be down to tropical storm strength which is below hurricane levels. The only thing I have to worry about is flying debris that may damage my house (and the wifes SUV which is sitting otside) and a prolonged power outage. Supposed to hit my area sometime after midnight.
