ChromeC is correct about the polish, claying will remove contaminants "ON" the surface, but what you need to do next to get at problems "IN" the surface which clay does nothing for. That's where polish comes in. p.s. If you neighbor asks you why you are rubbing your car down with clay, tell him you are practicing before you use the wipped cream.
