Jason,

The front disks aren't known to last much longer than the 25K you have on your cruiser at the moment. As the pads wear, brake fluid drops from the reservoir into the lines to take up the slack of the worn pads. Sounds like it's time to change them. Most of us have gone to aftermarket pads (NAPA etc.) to get away from the excessive brake dust of the OEM pads.
