The wiring in the fuse box was revised during the 2003 model year...although the factory tow-trailer harness instructions show a connection from the harness to a red wire in the fuse box,the wire I needed to connect to is now a red-white wire.
S,note to self,if doing any electrical on the car check to see if the wiring has been revised at any point during the model year.
