Shouldn't cause a problem, from a heat perspective. I'm not sure, but I think thats just a vacuum line. I have about 3/8" clearance over mine. Check to make sure the line is seated all the way.
What kind of Cowl Induction hood do you have, or is it just the weather stripping removed to provide a Cowl Induction effect??
