There's a shop near my place that carries/applies various makes of films on exotic and regular cars. Most of the exotic owners pay for a custom cut or additional coverage, usually the entire hood, fenders, doors, and rear quarter panels. If applied correctly, you don't see any air bubbles or wrinkles in the film. But some of the films may have an orange peel look to them after application and may discolor or yellow slightly over the long term. You are looking at a lifespan of 5-8 years, depending on your location, but the film can be removed and replaced as needed.
