The rotors are of your average zinc plated harder type. But the kevlar pads, that's a different subject. They perform great! Faster stopping, little to no noise, and little brake dust. Also, they have great "bite". I had them on my 2001 PT. As for how long they last, I didn't have them very long before my PT burned. I had them for about a month, but I was totally happy with them. Sci-Fi is right; they are a canadian company, and I brought the set on Ebay. I'd buy them again if they are available for the GT's.
