Coming home from work on sat. I pulled off the highway and when I got just about to the stop sign, I could tell something wasn't right so I pulled over and lifted the hood checked all that was possible from there.
I then started to go and the pt was acting like it was stuck in high gear so I tried reverse...same thing. I had a few choice words for the Chrysler corp.
Then I tried it again in drive and it worked fine, so straight home and parked.
I took it to the shop and had them check it over and they could find nothing wrong other than the tranny fluid had over heated ( a code from and internal sensor?) The fluid was good and no metal filings in the filter[:I] ( no the engine was not overheated)
They are going to check the flow through the cooler and rad to see if it is restricted some how. If it is not then this could be a torque converter problem??
Any ideas here guys what else it could be[:I][:I]
