We did a leather kit in his Toyota. It wasn't that hard, just time consuming. You will need a hog ring pliers and hog rings. Not expensive though. The full leather kit for his car ran about $800 I think.
Just be sure to make a note of all of the places that you remove a hog ring from when taking off the old cover and put one back in the same place. It should come out great.
