Cruisin’ New England Magazine’s 12 Annual Spooktacular Cruise ‘n’ Classic Auto Show
They’re baaaack….Cruisin’ New England Magazine’s 12 Annual Spooktacular Cruise ‘n’ Classic Auto Show is set for Sunday, October 16 (rain or shine) at Memorial Field, Essex Street, Whitman, MA.

This, “If you DARE” day long event will spook up hundreds of witches, goblins and apparitions alike. Classics, customs and street rods show their real personalities dressed up in webs from spiders of another kind. Pumpkins, witches, skeletons, ghosts and unworldly beings escort many of the cruisers to this event.

The show benefits the Whitman DARE program which will receive a portion of the day’s proceeds and apparitions will unite to help raise funds for this great cause.

Hundreds of vehicles are expected and pre-registration is always recommended. Top 50 theme awards, Witches’ Choice Awards, Goblins’ Choice Awards, Ghosts’ Choice Awards, the Monster Mash Dance contest, Halloween Cake Decorating (bring your own cake), costume awards and many other prizes and giveaways are in store for participants.

New this year are non-decorated classes for those undaring automobiles. Awards will be doled out to up to 1949, 1950-59, 1960-69, 1970-79 and 1980 and up.

In keeping with the tradition, the Halloween Spooktacular will present a slew of awards intended to be more fun than serious.

Mr. Halloween, six-time Best of Show award winner, Alan Wells, owner of the “Horrifying Haunted House on Wheels”, will choose his Best of Show pick.

Entertainment for the day includes the Monster Mash Dance Party, the sounds of DJ Michael Bel-Air, an auction and a whole lot more!
