Here would be my plan for the Pt Cruiser if I ran the show.
*Put the Pronto into prodution. Keep it modern looking.
*Deleat the "Roll Bar" off the convertable.
*Make the existing PT more retro.
*Make the front end look longer. Fenders like the Cal-40 but with a grill like a '40 Ford.
*Make the fenders rounder and wider. Have running boards as an option but set it up so it looks good both ways.
*Chop the top and have a it as a Dream Cruiser edition. Who cares what color they paint the same basic car this year.
*Clean up the windows. If a Voyager mini van can have flush looking glass with no outside pillers then why can't the PT? If not then make the pillers look like part of the body and do straight up and down (look at a 30's or 40's Ford to see what I mean.)
*Offer a large Canvas sunroof like the old VWs or something like the Big Sky show car.
*Offer a stripped down verion with all the high proformance options.
*More high proformance options like a good handling kit and a V6 option comes to mind.
*Offer a streached version for people that have a family and need it.
*Set up a system with dealers and modifiers so you you can finance your PT and the mods through the dealer. You could pick up your finished cruiser and make payments on it. Swipe Burger Kings saying for it, "You can have it your way."
LOL. Vote for me as president of the PT universe!
