Default Check Engine Light came on - code 1188?

My CEL came on a couple of weeks ago. My bumper to bumper warranty expired back in August and the dealer wanted $95 just to take a look at the car. I think that's too much so I brought it to my regular mechanic and he was able to pull a code #1188.

He said it had something to do with the turbo (something about "too much pressure in the tube") but it looked like a one time thing and didn't seem serious. He reset the CEL and told me to bring the car back if the light came on again.

Well, it did come on again this weekend. I'm hoping it's nothing too serious. The car still has the Powertrain Warranty. If it's a problem with the turbo, it should be covered under that right?

Has anyone experienced this type of problem with this particular code number?
