Welcome, Sleeper. I had a coupla Neons before the PT - not R/Ts and my PT isn't the GT, so I think the comparison holds.
I know you can improve the GTs handling - lowering will probably the biggest improvement - but it won't be an R/T.
Think of how much more comfortable the GT is - that's what I noticed. I think you get so much more with the Cruiser than Neon - yeah, it costs more, but you get lots more utility and comfort.
