As far as the transaxle fluid change...Chrysler isn't known for the longevity of the automatic transmissions. Preventive maintenance is the best thing you can do. If you can afford it, go for a full flush of the system. Mine was $160 but take into account about 15 quarts of fluid, gasket, filter and labor involved. If that's out of the question right now, just have the pan dropped and replace the filter. That will only change about 5 quarts but better than nothing. My $.02
