Crazy Joe,
How do you know you're "on the moderate side of conservative"? How does anyone really know where the middle is? If you based it on what the mainstream media says, you'd think Kerry was just left of center, which shifts the whole scale.
With Fox at least you'll hear from a reasonable conservative from time to time. On the network stations they usually match up the dumbest person they can find from the right with the cream of the crop from the left.
Or they'll have an ultra liberal, a liberal and a radical conservative. The idea there is that the Ultra liberal is presenting the liberal point of view, the liberal is presenting the middle-of-the-road, and the ultra conservative is there to show "how far out there" the conservatives are.
Even when there is a decent panel, they set the stage for the moderate/conservative to fail. For example, they'll have a news story about the "fact" that the US is suffering 99% of the casualties of those fighting the insurgents in Iraq.
But wait a minute... What about all the Iraqs (police and military) fighting for the liberation of their own country from Saddam. I don't know how many there have been, but it's got to be over 500 deaths when you look at all the police station bombings.
If todays media were covering WW2 they wouldn't have counted the French who died trying to liberate France.
You say "that's different", but in reality it only seems different because the mainstream media has set the framework for the discussion: we invaded, instead of liberated Iraq.

You are hilarious. You used to teach English yet you don't know how to use paragraphs to seperate thoughts and you start sentences with the word and. Maybe these kids are some of your former students.
Fox News, O'Reily, and Hannity and Colmes are not even close to "fair and balanced." They blindly support the republicans even if they're being stupid. You'd be hard pressed to make anyone with any free thinking skills watch one of those shows and not vomit.
By now I am sure you think I am an ultra-liberal, which I am not. I am actually on the moderate side of conservative. But to listen to folks tell me how great GWB is for this country, you might as well tell me that Ken Lay sure knows how to run a business.
