Default 2006 Horn Fixed

I don't know how many of you '06 PT owners have a horn that you have to press a certain spot on the horn to get it to sound. Ever since I purchased my car the horn would not sound unless I pushed the sweet spot near the bottom.

I have had the whole steering wheel replaced by taken one off a new car on the lot and that didn't help.

While visiting my daughter in OKC, we rented a '07 and the horn sounded no matter where you pressed the horn button. I returned and talked to my dealer (Boniface-Hiers) and there was a TSB listing the parts needed to fix the problem.
(1) 1GR28DKA-AA, COVER STE 19001015
(1) 68002385-AA, SWITCH HO 8050082
Those parts are a cover that is replaced and the horn switch. The possible problem is the cover only comes beige or black and mine had to be painted Platinum Silver.

Horn now works, thanks to DC, and my dealer
