It is hard to list in order what engine mod to make because they compliment each other. This is my recommendation.
1) SI.
2) Amx1397 or Adams turbo to stock air box pipe.
3) Amx1397 or Adams Vak UPP pipe (I.C. to T-body pipe).
4) 2.5 or larger Single "straight through" exhaust. Your choice, however, I do not recommend the Borla/MoPar exhaust and that is just "my" opinion. It is also "my" opinion that the BTG 2.25 single or dual exhaust would be adequate.
5) BTG, MaxFab or Truebendz DP/CAT and o2 Housing.
6) SII and the above!!!!
7) Larger I.C.?
And for the adventurous and mechanically skilled!
8) Adjustable WGA.
9) MBC or EBC.
And.........
10) Larger Brakes so you can stop the damn thing!
11) Shocks and Bars so you won't wad it up in the twisties!
Our engine, in its stock trim, is capable of some very impressive numbers. But! We have to remember that our little turbo is only so efficient and will just not produce LARGE numbers. SII, I believe, is pushing our turbo to its limit and if we really want to see a big improvement we are going to need a larger turbo, intercooler and the necessary chassis and drive train improvements to handle that!
