I need to get the speedometer on a 2001 PT calibrated for an impending speeding/reckless driving trial in Virginia (even though I reside in New York City). My lawyer suggested that getting a calibration certificate could potentially help by either showing that the speedometer was off or showing that I made the effort. The only problem is that I can't seem to be able to find any one in the New York City area who does such a thing. I called several dealerships, garages, and automotive stores to no avail.
