I asume we're talking GT's with 17" wheels here? My '04 came with Goodyear Eagle RS-A 205/50-17. I've got high mileage due to my work and at 27,000 they're ready to replace in front. I replaced the rears some time back, due to road hazard incidents, with RS-A to match. I put a slighty larger tires in the rear, 215/50-17. They are a bit taller but don't cause any ABS problems. I wanted to fill the wheel well more and add a little more rubber at the side to protect from curb rash and stay conservative. (The 205/50 are right at the same width as the chrome wheels.) Plus they look less like economy car tires. Don't put these on the front because of speedo issues.
I would review these as plain vanilla in looks and performance with lots of road rumble noise. I'm going with something else next, probably 215/45 all around. My problem now is the rears are in good shape, the fronts are worn out.[:I]
