Just to make sure, I did a quick search. The average is 20 cents more per gallon. That's almost 10% more. I'd say drive it like it's yours and put in regular. It will learn.
I sometimes wonder if before people buy a vehicle they check to see what grade gasoline it uses. If you don't want to use the more expensive gas that is recommended then don't buy the vehicle. In fact, if you average 13 gallons every fill up that would be an extra $2.60 a fill up. Even if you fill up twice a week that's a whopping $20.80 extra a month. [:0] If a person can't afford that how the heck did that person afford the GT! [:I] Bottom line is the GT was purchased because of the extra power and the extra power is totally available through the use of premium gasoline. If you can't afford the correct gasoline then sell the GT and buy a turbo lite or better yet buy a Toyota Corolla. It's a cheaper car and uses cheap gasoline. I'm not knocking the Toyota. My wife's could kick my '01 PT's butt.

The GT and the turbo lite have the exact same engine. If they weren't the same Mike would have blown up his turbo lite engine instead of kicking people's butts at the track. [?]
