How do you know this problem is from a poor ground? Althought I can see how such a thing would affect this, there are plenty of other possible causes too...
The diesel (European) models had a fix for this that required a PCM flash! Can't fix a ground with software... [

I have the dimming issue too. It is slightly bothersome...
