That's it. Top off the master cylinder to the full mark with the proper brake fluid (consult the owners manual) and it will cease. I had the same issue.
It maybe an indication that you need new pads. They may have worn to a point where the fluid level has gone down enough to cause the warning light/sound. Have that checked out.
